Public Transport

From the Dublin Road, cross the main bridge and take a left onto the quays. Continue until the Tower Hotel appears to the left. Continue around this bend in the inside lane. Continue through 4 sets of Traffic Lights (Passing Masons & Ruby's Club on the final set). Take the immediate left after the Playground on the left. At this point the ODEON Cinemas Sign will appear on the left just passed the Underground Car Park. ODEON Cinemas is located here.
From the Cork Road, continue through all Roundabouts passing the Ramada Viking Hotel, Waterford Institute of Technology, Woodies DIY, McDonalds, Eddie Rockets etc until a Topaz garage appears on the right hand side at a Traffic Light Controlled Cross Roads. Take the Right turn at this Cross Roads. Then take the immediate left. At this point the ODEON Cinemas Sign will appear on the right. ODEON Cinemas is located here.

ODEON Waterford is situated in the city centre. The cinema has 8 screens (Premier Seats, Costa, Ben & Jerry's) 3 ATMs 1 located in the main foyer 2 in the lobby.

Local Facility

McDonalds, Eddie rockets, TK Maxx (located directly next door), Tesco Supermarket, and Sopranos Pizzeria & Glo Hair & Beauty. There are a range of restaurants and bars just 10 minutes away.

Although ODEON Cinemas does not offer in house parking, the railway square development has an underground car park available Monday to Saturday. Additionally, Waterford City Council operates a car park directly beside the cinema which is available for use 24/7.

Location Of Cinema
ODEON Waterford is located in the Railway Square development, within easy walking distance of the city centre. The nearest bus stops are located at the front of the development on Manor Street, operating regular bus services to and from the city centre. A taxi rank is also adjacent to the complex on Railway Square. Waterford train station is approximately a twenty minute walk away across the River Barrow on Terminus Street.

The nearest car park is next to the cinema and development just off Johnstown Street, it is council run pay and display car park, approximately two minutes walk from the cinema; this car park has no designated Blue Badge parking spaces. The nearest Blue Badges parking spaces are on John Street, approximately ten minutes walk from the cinema. Further parking is also available in front of the adjacent Tesco Poleberry.

The taxi and car drop off point is directly outside the development on the right hand side on Railway Square.

Access To The Cinema
The cinema is located within the Railway Square development and is spread over three floors. The Railway Square development has multiple retail outlets, offices and residential apartments.

The cinemas entrance is fully accessible; with access via steps and push/pull doors or by ramp and automatic doors. The ground floor is where Costa Coffee is located with access to the first floor foyer via lift or stairs with handrails; the lift is inside Costa Coffee. The first floor foyer has level access to the box office, refreshments counter and ticket machines. Lowered counters and ticket machines are available for Wheelchair users. If you require any assistance, please ask a member of the team.

There is no seating area within the cinema, but guest seating is available on the ground floor within Costa Coffee.

Male and female washrooms are situated towards the Screen entrances just off the foyer on the first floor; a fully accessible washroom is adjacent. Another fully accessible washroom is situated on the ground floor within Costa Coffee.

Access Within Screens
All the Screens at ODEON Waterford are fully accessible with Wheelchair bays available. They are all located on the first floor, accessed via lift from Costa Coffee or by stairs with handrails. The Screens have stadium style seating with stepped aisles; due to the nature of the seating all of the Wheelchair bays are located towards the front of the auditorium. The stepped aisles have access to handrails.

Screens 1 and 2 have two blocks of seats divided by two parallel stepped aisles. Screen 1 has a front level section of seats where the Wheelchair bays are located at the rear. Screen 2 has no front section so the Wheelchair bays are at the front of the auditorium.

Screens 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 have two blocks of seats with a just off centre stepped aisle. These Screens have Wheelchair bays situated at the front of the auditorium

All the Screens have three single Wheelchair bays with adjacent companion seating available.

Location of Washroom Facilities
Male and female washrooms are situated towards the Screen entrances just off the foyer on the first floor; a fully accessible washroom is adjacent. Another fully accessible washroom is situated on the ground floor within Costa Coffee.
