Once you have decided on a film and film time simply click on your selection and you will be taken to the booking system. Here you will be able to select the number and type of tickets you require. When you are happy with your selection you will be asked to submit your email address, so that you can receive confirmation of your booking, and your payment details. At any point prior to entering your payment details you can abort the booking process or make amendments to your selection. Online booking is available only to those who accept the ODEON Online Ticket Purchase Terms and Conditions.. Please click here to be taken to our TERMS OF USE page.
For some performances you can choose your seats for the whole auditorium, whilst for others, only certain sections of the screen can be selected by seat.
When you select a section of seating, it will either display individual seats where you can drag and drop your booking onto the seating plan or it will advise you that the section is unreserved and you cannot reserve specific seats. If your booking is for an unreserved section, you can still choose your seats when you enter the auditorium before the start of the film.
We sometimes have to wait until the film distribution companies fully confirm details about a film before we can put tickets on sale. As soon as we know the films and times they will be displayed on the website - usually this results in the tickets for next week appearing on the website on Tuesday evening or Wednesday afternoon.
Sometimes, due to public demand, tickets can go on sale a few weeks before their release date after agreement with the film distributors. To ensure you are informed about advance sales of key films, you can register with ODEON to receive promotional and weekly film times emails by clicking here.
We would love to be able to show every film. In certain situations we are unable to show some films due to reasons which are out of our direct control. You can find if a film is showing at another ODEON cinema using the Film Finder option. Film selections are changed weekly at each cinema.
Yes this is the full film. An advanced screening is simply a unique opportunity to see the film before the official release date.
Whenever a film is released with captions for the hard of hearing we do try to schedule it at our cinemas. Captioned for hard of hearing and Audio Described performances are listed separately so you can choose these specific performances.
In addition, the "Your Local Cinema" website provides full listings of captioned performances at ODEON and other cinemas. Please click here to go to the Your Local Cinema website (opens in a new window).
An Audio Described performance is a standard screening ideal for visually impaired people. It works by playing a recorded narration, explaining what's happening on screen - during gaps in the dialogue - through personal headphones.
The normal film soundtrack comes through the cinemas surround sound speakers in the usual way, so Audio Description is undetectable to anyone else in the auditorium not using a headset. Headsets are available on request at the cinema.
Normally the advertisements and trailers last for approximately 25 minutes which should be added on to the total running time of the film. Please note the BFI IMAX only have 5 minutes worth of trailers.
You can download the latest version of FLASH for free by clicking here (opens in a new window).

At the present time we cannot accept bookings using vouchers over the phone or via the internet. Bookings must be made in person at the cinema. There will always be a selection of films that your voucher can be used for, but please note that the use of vouchers may be restricted in the first 3 weeks of the release of a specific film - this is what is referred to as 'Free List Suspended'.
If you are unsure of the validity of your voucher for a specific film and/or time, please call 1520 88 00 00 (Calls cost 15c per min*).
If your booking contains a Student ticket, you will only be able to collect your tickets from the box office, as you will need to show your student ID.
These are special performances of recently released films which have subtle changes to the cinema environment which mean that people who have sensory difference may have a more positive experience than they would in a traditional cinema setting. Changes include the lights being kept on at a low level, the sound is turned down and there are no trailers or advertisements - just the film.
For more information on these screenings please check on the DIMENSIONS website. (opens in a new window).
E-tickets are a new feature that ODEON has introduced at some cinemas for online bookings. The e-ticket booking confirmation document and the confirmation e-mail now include a 2D barcode (QR code), and this means you don't have to collect your tickets at the cinema box office or ATM.
All you need to do is either print off your booking confirmation or e-mail and bring it with you to the cinema, or be ready to display it on your phone. You show it to our staff at the guest service point so they can scan it and admit you to the screen. It's very easy, but you can still collect your tickets at the cinema box office or ATM if you prefer - just remember to take your card with you (see 3. below).
Just a few things to remember:
1. If you use a printout, make sure it's clear and legible. (If it's smudged, damaged, crumpled, or faint then we may not be able to use it.)
2. If your booking is for more than one person, you all need to be together when you present your QR code. (It covers the total booking and can only be scanned once.)
3. Please bring with you the Credit/Debit card you used to make your booking. If you weren't asked for a Credit/Debit card when booking - don't worry - just bring along the Electronic Gift Card or the ODEON Premiere Club Card you used. (If there is a problem scanning your QR code, your card enables you to collect from the box office or ATM in the traditional way.)
You can use the e-ticket whenever you have made a booking online for any of the available cinemas.
If you have booked more than one ticket and some members of your party do not intend to come to the cinema together, you will need to collect your individual tickets from the ATM or Box Office as the QR code can only be scanned once.
E-tickets are currently available at:
BFI IMAX
ODEON Derby
ODEON Leicester Square
ODEON Liverpool One
ODEON Metrocentre
ODEON Surrey Quays
How to print your tickets will vary depending on which internet browser or email provider you use. You should use the same route you would normally use to print from your computer. This can normally be found under "file" in your email or web browser navigation. We recommend that you print a copy of the booking confirmation email we will send you. However if this is not possible, you can print off the booking confirmation page when making the booking online.
You can display the e-ticket on your phone by opening up the email booking confirmation we sent you. Please have this ready before you reach the guest service point. Our staff will scan the QR code displayed on your screen, and you may need to scroll down the text.
Tickets can be purchased in the ROI using Visa, MasterCard or Laser cards. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept JCB, Electron, Solo, Style or Duet cards.
ODEON Gift Cards can be used to purchase tickets online and you can also redeem your ODEON Première Club points against purchases of cinema tickets.
The Remote Booking Fee is a fee for booking your tickets remotely. It is payable in addition to the price of your tickets. The amount of the Remote Booking Fee will be displayed during the booking process. To assist you in understanding the amount payable, we will display headline ticket price inclusive of the Remote Booking Fee. We do not levy a Remote Booking Fee for tickets booked at cinema at the Box Office or ATM. If you do not wish to pay the Remote Booking Fee you can still purchase your tickets at the cinema Box Office or ATM where no Remote Booking Fee will apply.
If you purchase your tickets remotely (via our website, Filmline, Apps or Facebook) there is an additional Remote Booking Fee applied. ODEON is committed to working transparently in order to offer guests the best possible cinema experience and a clear booking process – so where a Remote Booking Fee is applicable, this will be shown as part of the upfront cost and displayed on our online pricing pages.
If you do not wish to pay the Remote Booking Fee you can still purchase your tickets at the cinema Box Office or ATM where no Remote Booking Fee will apply.
Our ODEON Kids gives the whole family the chance to see their favourite films all over again. You don't have to be a member and the great news is, that tickets purchased at the cinema are just €2. For tickets booked online or by phone a Remote Booking Fee applies to every ticket Please note: The price information above is correct at the time of publication, but is subject to alteration.
