What's the plot?
Animated adventure ‘The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists’, from Sony Pictures Animation and Aardman Animations, follows Pirate Captain and his crazy crew as they set out on a mission to win the Pirate of the year Award, sailing from the shores of Blood Island to Victorian London.

Based on Gideon Defoe’s popular ‘The Pirates!’ series of books, ‘The Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists’ features voices a stellar crew of British talent including Hugh Grant and Imelda Staunton.

i took 20 kids to see this last week they all loved it but i found it borning so good for kids

My children and me went to watch this after the initial launch. It is remarkable to be able to watch a children's rated movie that does not have sex scenes, swearing and violence.
If you want a good laugh then go and see it. The are some plot similarities with Chicken Run and you have to be very observant to catch all the puns on the set details and jokes throughout.
Well done Aardman!

A good family film, with humour at adult levels too.
