One of the most popular comic trios of all time return in ‘The Three Stooges’, a madcap journey that follows blundering brothers Moe (Chris Diamantopoulos), Larry (Sean Hayes) and Curly (Will Sasso) on their wildest adventure ever.
When their orphanage home is threatened with closure, they hatch a plan to save it. However, in true stooge style, their scheme soon derails and leads them to a murder plot and starring roles in the world’s biggest reality TV show.
‘The Three Stooges’ is directed by the Farrelly brothers (‘Hall Pass’).
Contains frequent imitable and potentially dangerous stunts. These are, however, portrayed in slapstick format consistent with the original Three-Stooges, Laurel & Hardy, etc.

Great fun!
Great performances, particularly from Larry David having a wonderful time hamming it up as a misanthrope nun, constant slapstick to keep the youngsters entertained, a few knowing (non-blue) jokes for the adults, and a surprise ending from the Ferrelly brothers who directed/produced the film (if you know who these two are you will get the joke!).
Not much of a plot, but what is there hangs together well enough, so a good bit of old fashioned family entertainment and escapism.
Does what it says on the tin
AWFUL
