Really funny, even funnier than the first Nativity film, we laughed all the way through. Silly humour, but great fun as it was all so ridiculous - saw it on Dec 20th eve. when School broke up, made us feel chilled and Chrismassy. Great stress buster for adults !
Great family fun

It's not often that a sequel or follow-up film lives up to the original, but Nativity 2 was a pleasant surprise. My friend and I went in to see this film as an afternoon filler before 'Skyfall'. What a laugh! We really enjoyed it. The cast was fantastic, especially the kids. David Tennant was excellent in both his roles and Jessica Hynes did a hysterical turn as a diva presenter. The songs were great and each was very individual in style - I am not a fan of musicals, but I was not bored! The scenic outdoor sequences were good too. I can only described this film as a sort of 'Carry On' for kids - a bit of toilet humour but no sexual innuendo, and a wonderfully silly plot. A great family film for the holidays.
Terrible - Avoid this film

My kids and I really enjoyed Nativity so we had high hopes for Nativity 2. Unfortunately it was very, very disappointing. The plot was almost non existent and very drawn out. It repeated gags from the first film and exaggerated them so much that they were not funny any more. Considering the great cast, what could have been a good film was just a complete waste of time and effort.
