What's the plot?
Set in the Great Depression of America, ‘Lawless’ deals with the prohibition era and what happens when a successful bootlegging business is under threat.

Well directed. Well scripted. Well acted. Well done indeed. Almost 2 hours of brilliantly made cinema. You won't be disappointed. Tom Hardy seems to be unable to make a bad film so far and Guy Pearce plays a great antagonist. Even Shia LeBeouf acted (which is saying something)! Gary Oldman was not seen much but never-the-less, definitely the film to watch!

Great film - bit too gory in places

This film was really well acted and filmed. I loved all the actors and Tom Hardy was gorgeous as usual. For me it was a bit too violent and I spent quite a bit of time staring at my lap with my fingers in my ears. I do think its a shame that so many good films are made so hard to watch because of the level of graphic violence.
