Tarzan

Mild violence and threatening situations which may scare younger children.

About this Film

The king of the jungle swings back onto the big screen in animated motion capture adventure 'Tarzan', with Kellan Lutz taking on the role of the young eco-warrior.

After he is orphaned as a young boy, Tarzan is taken in by a family of gorillas who raise him as one of their own. But when a ruthless new silverback takes over as tribe leader, Tarzan is booted out of the ape crew. Ostracised and alone, he teams up with fellow human Jane Porter to fight against the evil men intent on destroying the forest.

Directed by Reinhard Klooss, 'Tarzan' also stars Jaime Ray Newman and Spencer Locke.

new story twist

Reviewer: Jake Hay123Date: 2014-05-19

I like the fact that there was a new twist to the stor. Not like the other tazan films where he goes to the UK, no he stays in the jungle.

Awful awful

Reviewer: Persil WashingtonDate: 2014-05-04

CGI is pretty good, unfortunately other than that this film has no redeming features. As the saying goes that's 93 minutes of my life I won't get back!

Terrific Tarzan

Reviewer: the ghost in the machineDate: 2014-05-03

The film spanned over the jurassic period to the present day. It followed the story faithfully with a liberal dose of poetic licence. Tarzan is a young boy who adapts to the wild and amazingly when he meets Jane is able to adapt to being human again.
