About this Film

Based on a true story, 'The Wolf of Wall Street' lifts the lid on a massive 1990's securities fraud scandal, which was orchestrated by a hard-partying stockbroker.

Jordan Belfort appears to have it all: fast cars, luxury yachts and endless reserves of money earned by ruthlessly swindling investors. But his high-flying lifestyle won't last forever, as FBI agents cotton on to the dodgy dealings at his firm and the dynamic banker looks set to face federal prison.

'The Wolf Of Wall Street' is directed by Martin Scorsese.

Total Film - 5/5 Stars

Greed is very, very good.

“I always wanted to be rich,” rattles the voiceover of Wall Street broker Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio), inevitably recalling goodfella Henry Hill’s “As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster.” The cacophonous trading floor spreads out before Jordan’s wide blue eyes: green numbers hurtle across bulbous screens; manic men scream into phones. “You wanna know what money sounds like? Welcome to Martin Scorsese’s 22nd feature film, another of his examinations of the rites and rituals of a particular sect, be it the wiseguys of ‘70s Little Italy (Mean Streets) or the society scions of late 19th-Century New York (The Age Of Innocence).

So good.

Thought I would never sit through 3 hours but the film is so good, entertaining and funny time just flew by.

Funny as hell

I was expecting a standard scorsese movie. This is easily the funniest film he has done in years. The Lemmon sequence is worth the ticket price alone!

Love!

Thought I would hate this but was highly entertained from start to finish! It's funny and shocking in equal measure, the portrayal of the wolf is so well crafted that you end up loving himeven though really you know you shouldn't! Highly recommended!

Wolf Among Us

The Wolf of Wall Street is packed with brilliant performances, a regularly hilarious, outrageous tone and a compelling story & characters to make the 3 hour running time fly by, and then have you ready to sit through it for another 3 hours. Also, the Lemmons scene. Just as good the second time around. Could've sat through it for ANOTHER 3 hours.
