What a bod!

Reviewer: Godfather Part 2Date: 2019-02-18

A very good film, not quite great, with emotion which plays sometimes clumsily but breathtaking visuals and action compensate. The sight of Alita in her skin tight black spandex is worth the price of admission alone. How can CGI be so damn sexy?

Love a robot?

The 3D effects are impressive. Otherwise, just another action cartoon. Fighting, shooting, explosions ... The most interesting aspect is the theme: can you love a robot? Can a robot love you? Thinking Fritz Lang, Metropolis.

Not as mature as Ghost in the Shell, Robocop, Ready Player One or Elysium; but hugely entertaining nonetheless. Some great tech concepts in there, plus a couple of guest stars.

extraordinary

Visual roller coaster! Good story and not a franchise for once!
