My expectations for the sixth in the series wasn't entirely fulfilled and I was slightly disappointed by David Yates after such a excellent fifth film. The negatives of this sixth Harry Potter for me was that not enough of the content of the actual story was included with Voldemort's past and really it seemed largely rushed making the romance and comedy aspect of the film overshadow it too much though there is that greater emphasis in the book. Some of the romance content though could have been left out. The climax of the ending was minimal. What about the battle with the Order that the Death Eaters have to contend with? Also I was uncovinced with the relationship between Harry and Ginny as Bonnie Wright's acting was wooden and it would have been nice to see more of Hagrid and Neville. However there were many things I loved. The romance and comedy was hilarious particularly Rupert Grint, the acting was superb with Wastson, Grint and Radcliffe. Also Jim Broadbent shone as Slughorn and so did all the other actors and actresses like Jessica Culver who plays Lavender and Tom Felton as Draco, not to mention the special effects were excellent and a lot of the content they had was good. There were also some lovely scenes in there particularly the final couple. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed this and I never got bored but it could have been better. Nevertheless looking forward to number seven!

ok so harry potter films have had their ups and downs and some have certainly been a great sucsess. however this film seems to lack what the other films had in parts it feels like your reading the book all over again but in most parts it feels like they couldnt be botherd to read the book and just put their own interpritation onto the film. personally i think this film spent to much time on trying to get good visual effects and not enough time concentrating on the plot
