While England is at war with France and an increasingly frail Queen Anne occupies the throne, Lady Sarah and new servant Abigail fight to be 'The Favourite' of their Queen.

Sarah is Anne's closest friend, and is often forced to manage the country in her stead. And her absences from Anne's side give Abigail the chance to slip in and become the Queen's new companion, with a possibility of finally fulfilling her ambitions.

Men, women, politics or rabbits won't stand in her way in 'The Favourite', starring Olivia Colman, Emma Stone and Rachel Weisz.

What a load of rubbish and sooooo boring. Did not enjoy this film and was offended by some scenes.

Really did not like this film. What could of been a nice movie about Anne sad life, turned into a unfactual pile of vile.

Silly, tasteless, gratuitously violent, nasty, but worst of all….boring! Alice in Wonderland meets Ken Russell’s The Devils, minus any humour. His last film was a lobster but this one’s a turkey. Nice shots of Hatfield Place etc and some good acting, sadly wasted. Queen Anne’s dead – let her R.I.P.

It wasn’t my favourite, very dull despite the beautiful settings. If your offended by the C word then It’s best to avoid this movie. I dont know why Olivia Colman won the award, Emma Stone held the movie together and Rachel Weiss was outstanding.
