1. Introduction

1.1. These Terms apply to your use of the websites and, the ODEON app and ODEON social media. Please check our age restrictions below.

1.2. In these Terms, “ODEON social media” means the parts of social media provided by third parties (such as Facebook) through which ODEON provides services such as information, applications and similar activities. 

1.3. You need to be a myODEON member to use the ODEON app.

1.4. Orders placed via the website or ODEON app for tickets, food, drink and other items are subject to additional terms and conditions, and you should read them carefully before placing an order.

2. About ODEON

2.1. If you are in the UK, the website, ODEON app and ODEON social media are operated by Odeon Cinemas Limited, a company registered in England under company number 1854132. If you are in the Republic of Ireland, the website, ODEON app and ODEON social media are operated by United Cinemas International (Ireland) Limited, a company registered in Ireland with company number 441782. You can find our registered office and VAT number on the main Legal page on the website.

2.2. If you have any questions regarding these Terms, our website, ODEON app or ODEON social media, please contact our Guest Service Centre via the “Contact Us” page of the website.

3. Minimum age requirements

3.1. If you are under 16, please ask your parent or guardian’s permission before you: (a) use ODEON’s website (including sending us information), (b) download or use the ODEON app, (c) post materials on ODEON social media or (d) enter any competition that requires information about you or offers a prize.

By continuing to use the website, ODEON app or ODEON social media and any of the services offered, you are confirming that you have the consent of your parent or guardian to do so.

3.2. You need to be 16 or over to sign up for a myODEON account. Generally you need to be 16 or over to join Limitless. If you are 13-15, you can join Limitless via a gift membership but you must obtain consent from your parent or guardian before joining.

4. Your consent to these Terms

4.1. By accessing or using the website, ODEON app or ODEON social media, you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not wish to be bound by these Terms, please do not use the websites, app or ODEON social media, and please delete the app.

4.2. Your use of the ODEON app and social media is also subject to the terms of the operating system providers and the social media platforms.

5. Our sites are only for local users

The websites,, the ODEON app and ODEON social media are only directed only at users living in the UK or Republic of Ireland (as appropriate). If you access the websites, ODEON app or or ODEON social media from outside these countries you do so at your own risk, and we cannot guarantee that any content is available or appropriate for your use.

6. Ownership of materials in the sites

6.1. The intellectual property rights in the websites, ODEON app, ODEON social media and the materials published on them are owned by or licensed to ODEON. These works are protected by copyright, trade marks and other intellectual property rights and laws throughout the world.

6.2. You can download, display and print the materials on the websites, ODEON app and ODEON social media for your own personal use, provided that you do not alter any paper or digital copies or remove any copyright, trade mark or other notices.

6.3. If you download, display, print or copy any part of our sites in breach of these Terms, your right to use the site will stop immediately and you must return or destroy any copies that you have made if we ask you to.

7. If you ask us to send you information emails, your use of the content received through our information emails will be subject to these Terms as if that content formed part of the websites, ODEON app or ODEON social media and their materials.

8. Restricted acts when using the sites

You must not in relation to the ODEON websites, ODEON app or ODEON social media (“sites”):

8.1. use any materials on the sites without our written consent;

8.2. establish a link to the sites from any other website or app wiithout our written consent;

8.3. use the sites to upload or distribute any material that contains viruses or anything similar;

8.4. use the sites to infringe the rights of ODEON or any other person;

8.5. do anything that interferes with or damages the sites or the operation of our business;

8.6. submit any information to the sites which is defamatory, obscene, offensive, liable to cause harassment or distress, which does not comply with any law and/or consists of spam commercial offers or adverts;

8.7. frame or use framing techniques to enclose any material on the sites or any part of them without our written approval;

8.8. use any meta tags or other hidden text using the trade marks or trade names of ODEON without the written consent of ODEON;

8.9. de-compile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or otherwise reduce the code used in any software on the sites into a readable form; or

8.10. circumvent or attempt to circumvent any of our security safeguards or those of our suppliers.

9. Posting material on our sites

9.1. If you submit any comments or materials to the website, ODEON app or ODEON social media (such as a film review) you transfer any ownership rights (including intellectual property rights and any moral rights) you may have in them to ODEON.

9.2. We have the right to remove any material posted on the websites, ODEON app and/or ODEON social media at any time.

9.3. We cannot control user’s posts on the ODEON website, ODEON app or ODEON social media. We are not responsible and accept no liability for the contents of any posts or submissions. In particular we are not responsible for the accuracy of any claims or opinions made by users about our products or services. If you are unhappy about any post please contact us via the “Contact Us” page of the website or use the reporting channel via the social media platform provider.

10. Usernames and passwords

10.1. If you have a username, password or any other security information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential and not disclose it to any third party. Please do not reuse passwords that you use with other web services.

10.2. If you become aware of any unauthorised use of your security information please inform us immediately. We have the right to disable any account and/or registration with us at any time, if in our reasonable opinion you have failed to comply with your obligation to keep your security information secure.

11. Third party sites

11.1. We may occasionally permit third parties to use the website, ODEON app and ODEON social media and/or our information emails to promote their goods and/or services. This may include providing links on the website, ODEON app and ODEON social media to third party website which are not controlled by us. ODEON social media may sit within a platform provided by a third party, for example Facebook.

This does not mean that ODEON endorses that third party, its website(s) or any of the services or products it offers. We are not agents for any such website, advertisers or applications and we are not authorised to make representations on their behalf (unless explicitly stated). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of any such website or application. You provide personal information to such website and applications at your own risk, and you should check their privacy policy.

12. ODEON social media

12.1. The social media provider may choose to display advertisements and features alongside the ODEON social media. ODEON has no control over the content or images in such advertisements and features.

ODEON does not endorse these adverts or features and accepts no responsibility for them.


12.2. If you are using ODEON social media, please remember that ODEON social media is provided via social media sites which have their own functionality, terms and privacy policies. Please ensure you have checked your personal settings to ensure you are happy with how your information will be used by the social media site. ODEON social media may make use of these functions but ODEON does not control them and is not responsible for them.

13. Availability

13.1. The websites, ODEON app and ODEON social media are provided free of charge and we make no guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, accurate, error-free, secure or free from viruses.

13.2. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, all or any part of the websites, ODEON app and/or ODEON social media without notice and without liability.

13.3. We may offer the website, ODEON app and ODEON social media users the opportunity to register to receive additional information and/or services. We are not under any obligation to accept a request for registration or provide such information and/or services.

14. If you don’t comply with these Terms

We reserve the right to investigate any suspected non-compliance with these Terms. If we believe that a violation of these Terms has occurred, we may take action to suspend or bar your access to the websites,

ODEON app and/or ODEON social media, suspend any account or registration you have with us, and take such other corrective action as we reasonably consider appropriate (including referral and disclosure to law enforcement bodies where relevant).

15. Your personal information

15.1. Our Privacy Policy sets out how ODEON may collect and use your personal information, and the choices you can make about how your personal information is used.

15.2. Our Cookie Policy helps you understand how cookies and similar technologies are used on the ODEON website, and the choices you can make about this.

16. Amendments to these Terms

ODEON reserves the right to add to or amend these Terms from time to time. Amendments will take effect when posted on the website, ODEON app or ODEON social media. If you use any sites after any amendment to these Terms, the updated version of these Terms will apply.

17. Other important information

17.1. If we fail to comply with these Terms, we are responsible for loss or damage that you suffer which is a foreseeable result of our failure. Foreseeable loss or damage can be foreseeable in two ways: either it is obvious that it will happen, or if at the outset both you and us knew it might happen. We are not responsible for loss or damage which is not foreseeable.

17.2. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation. We will always tell you in writing if this happens, and we will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under the contract. You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these Terms to another person if we agree to this in writing

17.3. These Terms apply between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of these Terms.

17.4. Each paragraph of these Terms operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

17.5. If we do not insist immediately that you do anything you are required to do under these Terms, or if we delay in taking steps against you where you have not complied with these Terms, that will not mean that you do not have to do those things and it will not prevent us taking steps against you at a later date.

18. Laws and disputes

18.1. If you live in the UK, these Terms are governed by English law and you can bring legal proceedings in the English courts. If you live in a part of the UK which is not England, you can choose whether to bring legal proceedings in the courts of the part of the UK where you live, or the English courts.

18.2. If you live in the Republic of Ireland, these Terms are governed by Irish law, and any disputes will be dealt with by the Irish courts.

18.3. Alternative dispute resolution is a process where an independent body considers the facts of a dispute and seeks to resolve it, without you having to go to court. If you are not happy with how we have handled any complaint, you may want to use alternative dispute resolution. The European Commission has established a website for online dispute resolution which is available at, and which is designed to assist consumers in resolving disputes online without having to go to court.
